Why June 10 matters

Public-testimony day is the formal opportunity for New Yorkers — not agency staff, not contractors — to put their experience on the Council record. Every statement from June 10 becomes part of the official transcript Council members rely on when they decide whether to pause, condition, or fund the rebid. Parents and workers showed up to make sure that record reflects what families are actually living through.
