Citywide Escalation
Ask the NYC Public Advocate to step in.
The Public Advocate's office has a citywide mandate to investigate agency conduct and can request records and explanations DYCD has not released to families.
What the letter asks for
- An inquiry into the missing scoring sheets, crosswalks, and transition plans.
- A formal request that DYCD pause registration until plans are published.
- A public statement on workforce continuity and disability access.
